Kublai Khan ruled for thirty-four years and died in 1294. He is thought of as one of the greates rulers in history because of the vast lands he took control of and how he showed great intelligence. The main issue that his rein presented was that his successors were then more involved in chinese traditions when a growing issue grew between Mongol rulers and China. They would have rathered stayed to their own traditions rather than mix with Chinas.
